Okay Habs. Now it's personal.

Dear Habs:

I hate you. I am SO mad with you right now. Family friendly words do not describe how mad I am.

You called up Pyatt and White and now you've seriously handicapped this Hammies team for Friday and Sunday. SERIOUSLY handicapped them.

You called them up because you're freaking injured or because you're just that useless....

It's one thing if you want to tank your season. Go ahead. I'm seriously over that. But for the love of the damn game, why the hell do you have to ruin the Hammies too?! WHY?!!!!!!! WHY?!

Get your shit together and send my Hammies back to Hammie-town where things were going well.

Not-sincerely,

EP

P.S. Yes, this is my knee-jerked reaction to the news. Probably the only person in Montreal that is mad at the Habs because of this.

P.P.S. That being said, you know who I'm going to blame if the Hammies lose right? Regardless of how badly the Hammies might play?

P.P.P.S. Pysie and Whitey: Kick some butt tomorrow if you play.

P.P.P.P.S. this was a long time in coming actually. We were talking about what would happen if Martin is fired. Would the Habs call up Boucher and #$%^ that up? Not only am I super attached to this Hammies squad, but Boucher is in no way ready for the NHL. And yet, the Habs are totally the type to screw it up and make him the coach before he's ready.

I'm really sorry, it sucks that it's happening right before they come to Montreal...

On the other hand, you'll get to see Pyatt and/or White with the Habs, and you'll also get to see some baby habs who wouldn't have played a lot otherwise (maybe the Swedish guy, Johansson). So you'll actually see MORE of them. :/

It's tough for the Hammies to lose guys like that, but of course that's inevitable for AHL teams... And it's a good sign, because it shows they are developping guys that are good enough to get called up. But I understand the frustration...

Ahem. I got pretty ragey there. Good thing there was no milkcrates around o.O I guess that's what happens before I eat dinner.

I'm actually a lot calmer now *G*

I mean, yeah, I know it's the story of AHL teams, but they just had to pick NOW to call them up? It's the timing and my new-found love with the Hammies coupled with my complete frustration with the Habs as a team right now that just had me all ragey....

Actually I was pretty pissed about the callup too but then I was hoping they'll play friday as they'll be in town anyway...?

And we still get Brrrrrrrrrrrrock Trotter! WOO!

Oh yea, my brother is meeting me at 5. Are you guys going to the Ye Olde Orchard pub?

That would be really awesome if they could still play but maybe they want to rest them as they have a game on Saturday? Grrrr..... =/

I will totally be at the Ye Olde Orchard. Thinking for around 5. I'll see what everyone else is doing but I'll definitely be there. I'm totally in the mood for a huge thing of cider :D
