Nah, I'm not too keen on Olympic Team Canada myself, really...regardless of how much I give a damn about pro hockey players with a minimum average salary of 6-billion dollars going to the Olympics in the first place...
Well, I'll probably get kicked off the continent. I'm cheering for Russia. They have the most Caps, past and present. They'll have a Cap playing and a former Cap (one of my all-time faves, in fact) coaching.
Number31 - Yeah... I'll probably watch the games because it's hockey, but I'm not super hyped for this...
Bobbi - If I had to choose between Russia and the USA, I'd go with Russia :D Meaning no offense to the Americans or anything but between Burke, Wilson, Kessel and Komisarek.... each one alone is enough of a reason to not like the team... put them together and... ick....
I don't even have to consider players I don't like. Most of the players I care about and like are on Russia. The only player I actively dislike is on, oh...Canada. :)
I'm so glad Crysob isn't from the US.
I won't know until the 1st if I have any reason to cheer for USA, but I've got two Canadians and two Russians in the Games, so that'll be fun.
It's also fun to see the Caps fans cry over Mike Green's Olympic "snub"...
My family has been teasing me forever about Crysob playing for Canada.... D:
I was saying this on Twitter, but I don't believe that Green is as bad defensively as many people think. I can see why he was left off the team and I wouldn't call it a snub at all but I don't like the bashing he was getting.
Hmm. The sentence that mentioned my 2nd fave team is Sweden seemed to disappear. Without that sentence, the rest doesn't make sense. :)
