Who invented timezones?!

Stand up so I can give you a kick! A few things that stand out to me about the Habs' schedule:
  • There are 4 10:00 or later (10:30) and 2 9:00 and several 8:00 or 8:30 starting times this season.... including a western conference roadtrip pretty much right off the bat....
  • Longest streak of home games will be after that initial roadtrip and will consist of 6 games
  • They also have a 7 game roadtrip in December but they will all be at decent times
  • They'll be in San Jose for a 10:30 start time on my birthday...Ugh.
  • In a weird bit of symetry they will play the Leafs at the beginning and end of the season.
  • Koivu won't be coming back here this year. They get to go to Duckland instead.
  • no early January trips to Florida this year
  • no Boston until November. Whoo!
And the Caps made things difficult for me by only having two home games in early December....

Only 5 afternoon games. That means 77 games starting after 1AM here. And a lot of mornings where I'll need caffeine! :/

OW! I keep forgetting that you have it worse than me =(

(butbutbutbutbut if you're coming here in September maybe you can see some of the pre-season games!!!!!!)

I'd love to! Maybe we could go together (if you don't mind spending $$ on a mindless preseason game, of course...)
I haven't seen the preseason schedule anywhere yet.

I'm so there! I'm surprised our pre-season schedule isn't actually up on the NHL site... Habs Inside/Out has the Habs playing 7 pre-season games from Sept. 17-26. 5 will be at home. 1 in Ottawa and 1 in Quebec City.

Also, the Montreal Juniors will be starting their regular season in September. It's not NHL or even AHL hockey but apparently major junior hockey has made for some great hockey too.

I'm throwing this all out because there is no way you're coming here and not seeing hockey =D

Nice! I'm sure we can do this! Don't worry, I definitely plan to get my hockey fix in Montreal... ;-)
